Gallery Roi Doré
The Gallery Roi Doré is a renowned gallery in Paris, located in the centre of Le Marais, the famous artistic district. Since its creation in 2010, the Gallery Roi Doré continuously presents an important number of high quality exhibitions, focusing mainly on the most interesting figures of Polish artistic life in France.
Each artist – whether already established or emerging – working with the Gallery is carefully chosen in order to offer the public a unique aesthetic, intellectual and spiritual experience. The diversity of the selected artists, working on different problems and using variety of means of expression, ranging from traditional to contemporary – also enrich the Gallery’s program.
The Gallery Roi Doré is also open to other domains of art: its space hosted many concerts, poetic and theatrical evenings, meetings with members of scientific world. Moreover, the Gallery participates actively in French cultural life, having joined in the past the festival “Journées Nomades”, organized each year by the authorities of Le Marais district, or in the prestigious biennale “Mois de la Photo”.
In 2014, the Gallery Roi Doré received the prize for the best Polonia’s project of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its exhibition “Jan Lebenstein. In memoriam” presented in Paris and New York.
The exhibitions organized by the Gallery are always very well received both by public and by critics. It is a unique place, attracting both Polish culture lovers and an international public, searching for high quality artistic experience, no matter the artist’s origins.
